Premraj + Youvanis Engagement

(Wedding Photo Malaysia)
This engagement took place at the relocated brand new temple at the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Section 23 in Shah Alam. The lighting was exceptionally bright in the temple and it was a ideal for capturing photos and videos of the ceremony. I'm sure it felt very special for the couple to be one of the very first couples to receive their blessings at this landmark temple.
The makeup was immaculate.
Not overly done but enough to provide very flattering texture and skin tone.

It's all in the eyes!

Sugu & Kalpana's Engagement

(Wedding Photo Malaysia)
This month must be a really auspicious month for Indian Engagements and Weddings as we've been busy back to back every weekend.  This weekend we had the honor & pleasure of covering Sugu & Kalpana's Engagement at the Sunway Lagoon Club.  Another beautifully staged engagement and the bride truly looked like  a classic goddess!

Gayathri & Shogun's Engagement Ceremony

(Wedding Photo Malaysia)
A spectacular Indian engagement ceremony at the Sri Ayyanareeswarar Hindu Temple in Wangsa Maju.  In every single photo the bride looked so radiant and has once of the most natural, heartfelt and sincere smiles which I've come across.  It was just an absolute joy to cover this event as the environment & lighting just looked absolutely extraordinary.

Heng Siong & Su Ee's Wedding

Here is a good example why I would strongly encourage couples to engage at least 2 photographers for their big day. You get good coverage from the groom and bride side as moments are unfolding in both places, more unnoticed beautiful details would be captured, and there's much more opportunity to capture the spontaneous and impromptu moments off the side of the main camera. In Heng Siong & Su Ee's case the results are clear.  We caught so many moments and beautiful portraits throughout the day.

Thiyagu & Kristina's Wedding

The morning started really early in Klang for Thiyagu & Kristina, blessed with good weather and beautiful blue skies.  Many Indian weddings these days are conducted in a hall but this wedding was special, the ceremony itself took place within the sacred temple.  Sri Raja Rajeswari is an exquisite traditional Indian temple that is beautifully maintained, intricate hand painted figurines, polished marble floors, painted fresco ceilings. When the bride arrived at the temple in her traditional make-up and saree I was just spellbound by the beauty of the wedding couple as well as the setting which they have chosen to perform their wedding rituals. Absolutely fabulous!

Chuan & Yihe's Wedding

(Wedding Photo Malaysia)
This was a very personal assignment for me, my nephew's wedding.  Been planning this event for over a year and suddenly it's the day has arrived!  The wedding day was just perfect, arrived at the bridal suite at the Equatorial and right in front of the large full length glass sliding doors is the magnificent view of the Penang bridge in the golden rays of the morning sun.

Yao & Xiao Heng's Pre-Wedding (Melaka & Port Dickson)

(Wedding Photo Malaysia)
We had the whole day trip planned to Melaka & Port Dickson for this young and enthusiastic couple who had planned to do their pre-wedding outside their home country.  Malaysia is a great place for outdoor wedding photos as we have good weather, blue skies and plenty of natural beautiful scenery to choose from.  The photos at the beach are my favorite as the couple rarely get to see the sea and you can really see them lighting to play!
